Knipex Cobra XS: The Tiny Plier That Punches Up
Don't let the 4-inch size fool you. The Knipex Cobra XS grips harder than tools twice its size.

Knipex Cobra XS Review
Most "mini" tools are novelties. The Knipex Cobra XS is a miniaturized professional tool.
The Grip
The teeth on these pliers are hardened to HRC 61. Once you lock them onto a nut or pipe, you can stand on the handles (don't actually do that, but you get the point). They don't slip.
EDC Capability
Pair this with a Swiss Army Knife, and you have a far more capable loadout than a standard Leatherman. You get better pliers and a better knife, distributed across two pockets.
Verdict
If you actually fix things—bikes, plumbing, loose bolts—this belongs in your pocket. It disappears until you need to apply torque.
